Dromoland Castle Golf & Country
Golf Club

This club ranks 6th out of the 451 clubs in our system.

Finally the transformation is complete. The golf course at Dromoland Castle has been reborn and the renaissance means Co. Clare is about to welcome a truly special golf course to a growing list of world-class golf resorts in Ireland. After three years of re-design and construction, development has finished at Dromoland Castle and the waiting is over for those who wish to sample this new JB Carr & Ron Kirby creation. Opened in April 2004, this is a golf experience that celebrates all that is great about the game - beauty, challenge, variation and solitude. The more you play of it, the more the course opens up and the tale it tells is spectacular. The design has embraced the natural canvas of the estate rather than impose itself upon it and the result is a course like no other in Ireland.

Played over the weekend - best course we've played this year. It's hard but enjoyable. Green fees are only €60 too with a GUI card.

Great Course!!

Played in 1st week of April, and the course was dry as a bone.
It's well worth the visit and very enjoyable.

This is a good test of golf but, the one difficulty I have is when it's wet there is a difficulty with finding your ball if it's plugged.
