Limerick
Golf Club

This club ranks 7th out of the 451 clubs in our system.

Founded in 1891, Limerick is one of Ireland's oldest golf clubs. It has matured into an excellent parkland course and nowadays the tree-lined fairways ensure extreme accuracy is called for. There are several good holes at Limerick including the par five 6th with its strategically placed water hazard, the stiff par four 3rd at 427 metres and the tricky, short 14th with out of bounds on the left and a slick, sloping green. Limerick Golf Club has produced some fine teams over the years with the crowning performance, the European Cup win in 1980 - a feat not equalled by any other Irish Club.

Tough golf course which gives a great test of golf. New layout includes some new holes/greens. Plenty of trees to catch any errant tee shots. Greens were in great nick. New clubhouse very impressive. Food & service high standard.
