I stayed in the houses on this course two weeks ago and I was looking forward to playing the course based on these reviews. I enquired about a weekly ticket prior to playing my first round but I was glad I did not take up this option as I was quiet dissappointed in the course itself.
Yes it has wonderful views of about six or seven holes, the greens where in great condition and congrats on that but thats where I lost interest in this course I'm afraid. Played it once and did not want to play it again.
I thought green fees where high considering I played both faithlegg and Waterford Castle for the same money !! I think they need to drop green fees by 10 euro then I would feel it would be good value. The staff and people where very friendly
and accommodating.
I generally don't give negetative reviews but I am afraid on this occasion I have to air my experience there. |

Congratulations Dunmore East!!
My society played here Three years ago and again on saturday last (20/02/10)and the improvements since then absolutly astounded me, the course was in immaculate condition and the putting surfaces were unbelieveably smooth and fast. Watch out for all the new bunkers and trees!
Can't wait to return |

Just played Dunmore East on monday and the course was in great condition, played one of the nearby courses on sunday and it resembled a bog. The greens were in excellent condition, I will be returning for the views and guinness. Great value, highly recommended. |

Always windy, greens dry out in summer and need more watering. Last 5 holes as exciting as any finish in Ireland. |
