An interesting parkland course set in a beautiful location. Main features are elevated greens protected by well positioned bunkers and attractive spinneys which are strategically placed to come into play. Excellent natural drainage ensures it is playable all year round - "Only closes when it snows" |

I doubt this would be the best course in the country. Obviously someone has an obsession with it seeing all previous comments on the course were added within days of each other. |

Comment: Ballyhaunis is the only course in Ireland I travel back to play each year. Well laid out, difficult, probablly the best nine hole couse in the country. Make sure you ask the new Captain if he has any for good ones. |
